Just had this installed a couple of weeks ago. No valves. It is an amazing sound. Whereas before one would need to push the RPMs to 7000+ to get that high frequency tone, with this exhaust you get it in spades at 2000 RPMs. Amazing. I find my self driving the car (shifting up) at 3000 to 4000 RPMs and the sound is incredible. The sound at low RPMs in 6th and 7th gear are unique and amazing as well. Highly recommended.
