This is a review that was texted to us from a S-line 360 owner. This is another example of a client that has become a friend of ours over the years, which is something that I'm proud to say happens a lot.
Very important note:
He is very picky- (that is not a bad thing- after-all so am I)
his cars are ALWAYS immaculate. He does not hesitate to tell you if something is not up to his standards. Anyway- this is a non-edited cut and paste review direct from the owner:
"I have the prototype valvetronic system on my 360. I’ve tested it repeatedly on several separate drives now and it is nothing short of incredible. I can start the car and leave my neighborhood in relative quiet (not too quiet but no longer like a full race car) but when it’s warm and I want to drive enthusiastically, I get all of the responsiveness and amazing sound that I’m used to. The valves open consistently on cue and there is nothing holding the car back when I want full power.
Furthermore, when they do open, it’s a nice shift to more volume but it’s not some sudden or drastic shift in sound and power. It’s subtle but definitely there. It’s a very nice transition.
Visually, the tips fill the openings in the bumper exactly right and even with one short glance at the back of the car, anyone can see that the exhaust is really the business. It’s really a proper solution for an exceptional car.
Additionally, even with all of the advancement in the exhaust thanks for the valves, it’s still a simple system with a nice “set it and forget it” aspect to it.
Finally, the tone on the system is definitely an improvement over the previous system. It’s a bit deeper and while still aggressive, it’s a kinder note to my ears.
All in all the car is even more enjoyable to drive and use than before and this is a very worthwhile upgrade. "
